How to Recover Hair

Does your hair become like straw and tangle? It’s time to act to restore your hair’s health. By starting a new hair-care routine, performing deep conditioning treatments and eating nutritious foods that contain lots of healthy vitamins, your hair can return to its beautiful natural state.

Treat hair gently.

Damaged hair is very fragile, and needs to be treated with caution. If you apply roughly to hair, hair can be branched or damaged, and will look more wrinkled than ever. From now on, take extra care for your hair, either wet or dry. Here’s what you need to do:

  • When using shampoo and other products, use your fingers to smoothly slide the product from the root to the tip of the hair. Do not rub your hair.
  • Rinse your hair with warm water instead of hot water.
  • Do not twist your hair or dry it roughly with a towel. Squeeze the water carefully, then dry with a soft towel.

Reduce the frequency of washing your hair.

When you wash hair, natural oils that prevent hair from dryness and tangles will disappear. Washing hair too often will make it tangled and damaged. Reduce the frequency of washing your hair into just once or twice a week so the hair has time to recover. After about a week, you will see positive changes to the texture of your hair.

  • Use enough shampoo. A little shampoo is enough. Your hair should not drip foam.
  • If your hair roots feel oily when washed, use a dry shampoo. After a few weeks of hair washing, your hair roots will not require treatment too often.

Dry your hair naturally as much as possible

You may have heard that using a hair dryer will damage your hair, especially if the hair is damaged. Store the hair dryer and let your hair dry naturally. Familiarize yourself with the natural texture of your hair; If you learn to love and accept it, your hair will not be too tangled and dry.

  • Avoid using a hairdresser with a heat controller. If possible, use curlers and strengtheners as rarely as possible.
  • If you must use a hair dryer, adjust the heat to the lowest temperature.

Use a comb, not a hairbrush.

Hair brush with plastic bristle hair will pull your hair, roughly pull tangled hair and cause hair damaged and branched. A rare-toothed comb is a better tool for breaking down hair tangles without causing damage. Start with the tip of your hair, and then rise a few centimeters up at once until your hair is not tangled again from tip to root.

Stop damaging your hair with some treatments.

Staining, whitening, curling, and straightening with chemicals are the curse for healthy hair. There is no healthy way to permanently change the color and texture of your hair. So, you should stop all these practices.

  • If you really want to dye hair, try using natural dyes or henna to explain or darken your hair color.
  • It’s okay to use hair straightening and curling without heat.

Below are some summary tips for those who care about their hair:

  • Consume lots of vitamins. Biotin will improve skin and hair health.
  • To avoid branched ends it’s a good idea to style the hair like tying it especially when it’s too hot or too windy.
