Cut the nails regularly.

If you let the nails grow long, uneven, and rough, then the possibility of nails can be broken and brittle. Your nails are very similar to hair – without regular maintenance, the nail tips will become brittle. Cutting your nails regularly is one of the important ways to help your nails stay strong.

  • Cut nails with a nail cutter or nail clippers – not regular scissors or other cutlery. And make sure the nail cutter or nail clippers are sharp!
  • Do not be too short cut nails. Cutting a nail too short can make your fingertips susceptible to having a hangnail (apart of small skin on the nail edge of the cuticle) and infection. Leave a little white edge on the tip of the nail.

Practice Think nails using the right way

Thinking of nails with sawing motion is one of the most damaging ways, as it can damage nail fibers. It really can embrace all the nails, not just the tip! To think nails properly, use emery board to think of the nails and move the tool gently in the same direction, not with back and forth movements such as sawing

Be careful when cutting the cuticle

Some people like to cut all the nail cuticles, but this can make the skin under the nails susceptible to infection. Instead of cutting the cuticle, it is better to soak it and then push it carefully using the cuticle thruster. Thus the cuticle will disappear when you paint the nails, but still protect the nails so as not to get infected with bacteria.

  • First, soak your nails in warm water for 5 minutes. Add a little oil if you want.
  • Use a cuticle pusher to push the cuticle to the base of the nail. Do not be too hard pressed, and do not be pushed by force. Do not tear or damage the cuticle.

Wear oil or lotion to moisturize your nails.

If the fingers and nails tend to dry, then using oil or lotion is a great way to strengthen and moisturize it. Apply lotions every time you take a shower. You can also apply lotion on the fingers before going to bed, so your fingers and nails will become damp the next day. Here are some moisturizing products that will help nails become strong:  Such as Aloe vera, Gel chia, Olive oil, Coconut oil, Argan oil, Castor oil, Almond oil, Jojoba oil, Tea tree oil,

Try using a nail booster.
Nail reinforcement is said to form a kind of strong protector for the nail, thus nails will not be exposed to objects that can embrace it. Some nail boosters should be worn once a week, sometimes once a month. Try to use, but remember, depending only on the nail booster is not the best way, because the fragile nails are often caused by abusive treatment and inadequate nutrition.

Look for treatment for yeast infections.

If your nails turn yellow or brown, and break them completely to the cuticle, you may have serious fungal infections that need to be treated. For severe symptoms like this, visit a doctor to discuss the treatment, which may require prescription medication or use a topical antifungal cream.
