Maintaining Good Mental Health via Building Self-Esteem

What is mental health? Mental health mainly includes our social well being, psychological and emotional. It affects how we feel, act and think. It also helps to determine how we make choices, handle stress and relate to stress. Mental health is crucial at any age, from children and adolescence through adulthood. Over the time of your life, you may experience mental health problems. Your mood, behavior and thinking could be affected. Several factors contribute to mental health problems, including: Life experiences, family history and biological factors. Nonetheless, mental health problems are general but help is available.

Question your self-criticizing thoughts. 

You need to be comfortable with yourself in order to maintain mental health. Worry and negative thoughts make you weak and unable to feel the best of you. Self-doubt also causes negative stress (distress). Eliminate the habit of self-criticism and worry by doing the following exercise:

If you start feeling worried and / or thinking negatively about you, asks the following question: “Am I getting better by thinking like this?” Or “Is my mind right?” Or “Am I going to say the same thing to others?”The answer to that question can overcome self-doubt.

Turn negative thoughts into right and good thoughts. For example, if you think about yourself: “I can never work well.” Change this thought by making a statement that contains the truth, for example: “Sometimes I do not work well, but I am also able to work with results Satisfying. I realize I can not do everything and I’m proud of my ability.”

Focus on your strengths.

When facing difficulties, focus on abilities that can help you overcome challenges in everyday life. For example, if you think: “I wonder what will happen.
